Emuge is widely known for manufacturing high performance application specific taps, however we designed and trademarked our Multi tap to offer manufacturers and end users an affordable yet high performance tapping solution, the main benefit being you don’t need a specific tap for different applications when the Emuge Multi tap will excel.
The Emuge multi tap is ideal for customers who work with short and medium run threading applications across a wide spectrum of materials.
The Multi tap is the result of collective years of Emuge’s extensive tapping expertise and application research. It features a completely new, innovative geometric design and a special base material and surface treatment allowing the tool to handle numerous materials and applications. The Multi tap is constructed of a proprietary grade of HSSE nitrided with a Ne2 surface finish.
Emuge UK stocks the Multi tap in both metric and imperial and in spiral point & spiral flute in the Ne2 version. Also to complement the range we now have the multi tap in tin coating, GLT1 coating and in a roll tap version, however these ones are only available in Metric & Metric Fine.
