Chamfer. 4-5 threads is standard.

Geometry. As an opposite to the spiral point design, the rake angle on this tap is nearly constant over the whole length of the chamfer.

Machining. Suitable for the machining of medium hard construction steels.

Application. Thanks to the helical cutting edges, this tap is very well suited for threads which are interrupted by longitudinal grooves or cross holes.

Rekord C-TI

Chamfer. 4-5 threads.

Geometry. The cutting edge geometry is designed for machining titanium.

Machining. Low cutting speeds and use of high-quality cutting lubricants are recommended for faultless thread cutting.

Application. This tap is suitable for slotted parts and parts with intersecting holes.

Rekord C-NI-TICN

Chamfer. Form "D" 4-5 Threads

Application. "Ni" Geometry designed especially for CNC controlled machines.

Materials.

1. High CrNiTi alloyed Materials such as Inconel, Monel, and Hastelloy.

Coating. TiCN for better thread surface finishes, higher cutting speeds and longer tool life.
