Application Range
The quick-change adaptors type EM are designed to be used in our tap holders type SFM and KSN. The 5 sizes are divided up into according cutting ranges and are available in 5 different versions.
Note: The quick-change adaptors are suitable for cutting right-hand threads and left-hand threads.

Tap Adaption by Quick-Change adaptors |
The adaption of the tap is executed via a quick-change-ball-clamping-system, whereby a separate adaptor is required for each shank diameter.

Internal Coolant Supply |
Depending on the version of the tap, with or without oil channel, the quick-change-adaptors are available in two versions:

Version 1: |

Quick-change-adaptor Type EM/IKZ and EM-U/IKZ with coolant supply via supply channels outside along the tap shank for taps without oil channel. |

Version 2: |
 |
Standard quick-change-adaptor Type EM and EM-U with coolant supply via taps with oil channel. |

- Normal version, without overload clutch,
- Application range: Especially for cutting of through threads.
Version EM-U

· With integrated, readjustable overload clutch for right- and left-hand threads,
· Application range: Especially for cutting blind threads. |
